STEAMGARD® Technology/Summary

Because steam trap cycling is eliminated with THE STEAMGARD SYSTEM®, the sterilization process becomes virtually identical for any vessel or vessel size. This high level of quality assures no contamination and acts as a secondary verification of the process. Improved heat transfer provides better control of reactors and heat exchangers to achieve more efficient processing. Reduced steam consumption in terms of tons of steam/tons product means greater productivity and improved thermal efficiency helps improve product quality.

A major pharmaceutical manufacturer, concerned with excessive steam loss, high steam trap maintenance costs, expensive inventory requirements, and difficulties in maintaining process temperatures and controlling humidity, converted to THE STEAMGARD SYSTEM®.
